Volleyball
Capital City Volleyball Club has been serving the northern Nevada and California communities since 2000, assisting girls ages 8-18 to reach their dreams of becoming accomplished volleyball players.
With players participating from more than 30 middle schools and high schools in the region, Capital City VBC included 180 girls playing on 16 teams during the 2008 season, with teams for every level of experience and ability available.
Capital City VBC has distinguished itself nationally by finishing 3rd at the 2002 USA Junior Olympic National Championships-17s Division, 6th at the 2007 Volleyball Festival-16s Division, and 8th at the 2005 Volleyball Festival-17s Division.
Capital City VBC offers a quality training experience for players of all levels. Our staff-comprised of many top former players, college coaches, and current high school coaches-utilizes
a "team" training philosophy by using multiple coaches to work with individual teams and players. Many of our teams practice together at least once a week, which provides the very best training atmosphere for each athlete.
One the Club's strong points is helping individual players earn a college scholarship. Capital City VBC staff includes a full time College Recruiting Coordinator, whose main task is to work with players and parents to navigate through the college recruiting process.
To further enhance each individual members volleyball experience, our website offers news about former members, training tips, information on upcoming camps and clinics, important training and college recruiting articles, and other information designed to enhance each players volleyball experience.
Volleyball is on the rise and never has there been more excitement and opportunity for young athletes to compete and train in the sport we all love. We have over 30 locations nationwide and offer programs for campers
playing at any ability level from beginners to college bound recruits. We offer valuable tools to improve your game and an unforgettable growth experience to those who join us.
